A breathwork technique practiced in Kundalini yoga, {kapalabhati}, or Breath of Fire, involves fast-paced, rhythmic and sustained breaths as not only a form of stress relief, but also as a way to stimulate and energise the body in a multitude of ways. Join meditation teacher Bhavisha and learn this ancient Ayurvedic technique to experience the instant mind and body benefits.

Kapalabhati, or Breath of Fire, is a rapid breathwork practice that utilises our abdominal muscles for an active and forceful exhale. This practice is very energising, by supplying the brain with a fresh supply of oxygen rich blood, as well as being a cleansing and heating pranayama practice that can help balance our Agni, our inner fire. It is beneficial for the nervous system, circulation, metabolism and is said to awaken the energy along the spinal Nadi.
