Q. I live in New hampshire, US. It gets really cold here. Henna is cooling agent, so just wanted to know if it can cause one to catch cold? Also, I have been coloring my hair at home. Will it still cover my greys? Thanks

Question by: Shwe on Nov 30, 2016 18:52:41 PM

A. We recommend you to try our Organic Hair Color Kit which is an ideal Ayurvedic treatment to color your hair dark brown to almost black - a natural alternative to harmful hair color dyes. The product ensure a youthful and rich shade, and helps cover grey. It is simple and safe to use at home. Applying only henna will dye the hair to natural brown/redish brown, in order to dye grey hair into natural black, you need to use both henna and indigo powder. Here are the steps to dye the hair naturally black: 1) Mix our Organic Henna powder with tea leaf water (add coffee for visible red) and leave it overnight in a bowl. To prevent yourself from catching a cold, we recommend you to add 1-2 drops of our Eucalyptus Essential Oil to this paste. 2) The next morning apply the paste on your hair and leave it on for 45 mins – 1 hr. And rinse off with water and dry your hair. 3) Make a paste of indigo powder with water and apply it on your hair and leave it for 1-2hrs. And rinse off with just water. 4) Use shampoo the next day. 5) Repeat this process twice a month.
